The GRTU – Malta Chamber of Small and Medium Enterprises and GlobalCapital p.l.c. have today announced the launch of a special agreement whereby GlobalCapital p.l.c. has been appointed as Preferred Financial Services Partner to GRTU and its members. Through this agreement, GlobalCapital p.l.c. will be supporting GRTU through various initiatives and activities it holds for its members throughout the year aimed at providing information about topics of interest to the retailers.

The agreement covers all the areas of service provided by the various subsidiaries of GlobalCapital p.l.c. and other services which the company is planning to launch shortly.

Commenting about this agreement, Vincent Farrugia GRTU Director General, said “this is an excellent agreement as it extends the professional services of a market leader like GlobalCapital to GRTU members at favourable rates and provides members with an opportunity to have specifically designed financial products to meet their particular needs, as identified by GRTU. Furthermore GRTU members will be offered the opportunity, through a new service that will be offered from GRTU Headquarters in Republic Street Valletta, to learn more about the investment opportunities offered by GlobalCapital. GRTU as an organization, will benefit from the financial arrangement reached with GlobalCapital to further extend the services and representations GRTU offers to the business community.” Mr. Farrugia stated that this agreement signifies a breakthrough for GRTU, as previously GRTU steered away from similar agreements. The new agreement however provides GRTU with an enhancement of its capabilities without in any way restricting the freedom of action GRTU has so jealously maintained since its inception.
