Maltese companies interested in meeting business partners from the Baltic Sea region [Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Kaliningrad (the Russian Federation), Estonia, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, and Poland] are invited to participate in this matchmaking event. The event will primarily focus on the following business sectors:
The participation in the matchmaking event is free of charge and the individual meetings will be organised according to the demands of the participating companies. Participants will be also given lunch vouchers and an invitation to a networking dinner on the first evening. Moreover, visits to the Klaipeda Science Park, to successful renewable energy companies in the region and to tourism and cultural organizations will be organised accordingly. Financial assistance [partially offsetting travel and accommodation costs] will be available.

Lithuania is located on the very crossroads of 3 huge markets. It's strategically close to the western EU markets [with a population of 340 million], whereas the eastern markets of Russia and the CIS countries are just by its side with a population of circa 250 million. Not to mention the Baltic Region which enjoys a population of 110 million.
Lithuania is the largest and most diversified industry in Northeastern Europe and it is a perfect place to generate and realize new ideas. It enjoys an environment that is conducive to business – with engineering potential and vast possibilities for business and science collaboration, thus offering a diversified business platform.
This particular matchmaking event will take place in Klaipeda – the third largest city in Lithuania, situated in the Western part of the country. It is strategically located on the Baltic Sea enjoying convenient transport corridors with huge potential for business and innovation development, investment and tourism.
